LSEG Risk Intelligence launched Active Intelligence, a new data engine underpinning its World-Check offering, and the first commercial product World-Check Resolve. The engine is built on Amazon Bedrock and continuously refines World-Check records with secondary identifiers, fresher information, and clearer sourcing. In trials across 650,000 screening cases, World-Check Resolve reduced false-positive alerts by an average of 74% without suppressing any true positives.
The target users include banks, non-bank financial institutions, FinTechs, and corporates that use World-Check One for compliance screening. These organizations can access World-Check Resolve through both the user interface and API. LSEG's specialist teams still oversee data curation and quality checks, and customer analysts remain responsible for reviewing and closing screening cases.
LSEG's partnership with AWS and use of Amazon Bedrock signals active build-out in AI governance, explainability, and audit-trail tooling. The product's ability to explain reasoning behind each result and maintain human oversight positions it as a compliance aid, not a replacement. Watch for adoption metrics and potential competitive responses from other risk data providers.
