Dragos completed acquisitions of NetRise and runZero, adding exposure management and software supply chain security to its industrial cybersecurity platform. The acquisitions follow Accenture's majority investment earlier this year. The full NetRise and runZero teams are joining Dragos, with their CEOs leading integration of respective technologies into the Dragos Platform.
Dragos customers in critical infrastructure sectors—electric power, oil and gas, manufacturing, water, transportation, data centers, mining, ports—will gain expanded visibility from firmware to cloud. Existing runZero and NetRise customers will continue to be supported during integration. Competitors in OT security and asset discovery face a more comprehensive platform.
The acquisitions consolidate three previously separate areas: OT asset visibility, exposure management, and firmware analysis. This creates a more complete xOT security platform. For vendors selling complementary tools, the integration phase opens opportunities for interoperability and services. The move signals Dragos' rapid platform expansion following Accenture's investment.
