On June 5, 2026, DentaQuest, a dental benefits administrator managing 32 million Americans, announced a cybersecurity breach. The hacker group ShinyHunters claimed responsibility, leaking 234 GB of data, including personal information of 2.6 million individuals.
The breach exposed healthcare enrollment files containing names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, and genders. Approximately 66% of the records were already in the Have I Been Pwned database from previous breaches.
