On October 15, 2026, Intuit signed an agreement to acquire Sequence, a New York-based Series A startup that automates quote-to-revenue workflows with an AI-native revenue management platform. Financial terms were not disclosed. Sequence's team will join Intuit, and co-founder and CEO Riya Grover will move into Intuit's mid-market product organization.
Sequence's existing customers will continue to be supported, and Intuit plans to integrate Sequence's capabilities into Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced. The deal also positions Intuit to serve new industries, specifically B2B software and professional services, as well as the accounting firms that advise mid-market businesses.
This acquisition signals consolidation in the revenue management and billing automation space, as larger platforms absorb point solutions. Intuit is using Sequence to extend its ERP suite into usage-based and milestone-based revenue scenarios.
Intuit said it will develop an integrated offering in the coming months, but has not disclosed close dates or product roadmap specifics. Watch for how quickly Sequence's stand-alone pricing and billing features are folded into QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite, and whether Intuit's go-to-market team starts pitching existing Sequence customers on the broader ERP stack.
