Forus, a company building an AI network to connect doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma companies, raised $150 million in Series C financing at a $3 billion valuation. The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from all existing institutional investors including Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel. Total funding now exceeds $300 million.
The company's platform is used by providers across all 50 U.S. states, covering 85% of residential ZIP codes. More than one-third of providers in its first launched specialty have adopted the platform, with double-digit percentages in several other specialties.
Forus's platform directly impacts providers, patients, and biopharma companies. Providers use the AI agents embedded in their workflows to manage insurance approvals, financial assistance, and supply chain coordination. Patients benefit from faster treatment initiation—approvals now come back in less than two days, and patients start treatment within one to two weeks. Biopharma companies, including 9 of the top 15 global biopharma firms, use the platform for research, commercialization, and launch of new medicines.
Forus will use the new funding to expand into additional specialties and care settings, extend AI agent capabilities across the treatment process, and increase investment in its team. The company's goal is to put its platform in every doctor's office in the country. Sales reps should monitor Forus's hiring and platform expansion as signals for new procurement needs in CRM, data analytics, and sales enablement.
