US-based Branch launched a white-label version of its Flex earned wage access (EWA) model for banks and credit unions. The product allows financial institutions to embed EWA within their own banking apps under their own brand, with Branch funding advances and managing compliance so institutions carry no credit exposure. Implementation follows a 60-day sprint covering technical integration, testing, certification, and go-live.
Banks and credit unions can now offer earned wage access as a white-labeled feature without taking on balance-sheet risk. Branch also supports paycard, direct deposit, cashless tips, contractor payouts, and embedded finance, enabling partners to start with one use case and expand.
Adoption among early adopter banks and credit unions will test the 60-day deployment claim. Watch for additional payroll connector partners and whether Branch expands to more embeded finance use cases with existing clients.
